The use of shortcuts is very important when browsing. It makes work faster, it saves you from stressing yourself, that is; moving back and forth in pointing and clicking. You might be relaxed while browsing and you're not in the position to use the mouse(click) you can easily use shortcuts here but thing is if you don't know a series of web browsers' keyboard shortcuts then you have to stress yourself moving back and forth making you easily get tired of surfing or computing. Below are 38 web browser keyboard shortcuts to save your time and to make surfing more flexible.
- CTRL + T: Opens a new tab.
- CTRL + R: Reloads a current tab.
- CTRL + H: View your browsing history in a sidebar
- CTRL + J: Opens your Firefox download window
- CTRL + TAB: Switches from current tab to the next tab.
- CTRL + SHIFT + TAB: Moves to the previous tab.
- CTRL + Z: Undo last action
- CTRL + SHIFT + Z: Redo last action
- CTRL + ENTER: Auto-complete URL to .com
- SHIFT + ENTER: Auto-complete URL to .net
- CTRL + SHIFT + ENTER: Auto-complete URL to .org
- CTRL + SHIFT + T: Restore the last closed tab
- CTRL + number: Change to the tab with this number
- CTRL + F4: Close the current tab

- F7: Toggle Caret Browsing (allows you to highlight text with a movable cursor)
- CTRL + Page Down: Move to next tab
- CTRL + Page Up: Move to previous tab
- CTRL + Y: Redo
- CTRL + Left Arrow: Go back a page
- CTRL + Right Arrow: Go foward a page
- Shift + Space: Scroll up a page
- Alt + enter. Instead of ctrl + t to open a new tab and then type the address, just type the address and then press alt + enter it will open the address in a new tab automatically.
